Royal Visit

Tuesday 13th November, 2:20 pm, is a must for your diary! That's when HRH Prince Edward, Earl of Wessex, is coming to KSG to unveil our QEII Field plaque and a super new inscription on the Jubilee Stone commemorating Her Majesty's Diamond Jubilee.
It will be fantastic to welcome His Royal Highness to KSG once more. Plans are afoot to make this a very special day, and it will of course give KSG a high media and public profile.

The reason it's planned for that date is that it's the 700th birthday of King Edward III, the Prince's namesake, the ruins of whose Manor House, as you all know, are next to KSG.
Our MP Simon Hughes and Amanda Squires of FoSP are the people who have driven this, so many thanks to them. We are working with Simon, FoSP and the Council's Events team to make all the necessary arrangements.
