Petitions handed in to Thames Water

The petition was handed in to Thames Water by members of the Save King's Stairs Gardens Action Group and pupils from St Joseph's School, Rotherhithe.  The petition was signed with 4,332 signatures (1,645 online and 2,687 on paper).

Phil Stride, Head of Thames Water's Tideway Tunnel project (the 'super sewer') explains the project to local children and tries to reassure them that he is looking for alternatives to their local park for the tunnelling works
